LPT: two assessments for the same house. send email or letter to revenue to rectify?

I have got two LPT assessments for the same house. The house is borderline to two addresses either of which would be deemed to be correct. I have emailed revenue explaining the situation. Is this enough or will I have to send a letter?. I have a copy of my email.
 
An e-mail may not be enough.
I sent an e-mail over a week ago and have not had a reply since despite the fact that I asked for confirmation. I will give it another few days.
