LPT: Revenue have my Dublin postal address but sent letter to elderly granny in Oz!

I just got my letter, and although Revenue has my postal address in Dublin, they sent the letter to my elderly grandmothers house in Australia!

I would never have given her address as a contact address, even as next of kin during my mortgage application, so its a wonder that they found her/me.

It is weird indeed how they choose names.

I got the revenue letter for my small building with 4 apts -addressed to one tenant whose name is not down for any utility nor for PRTB (quite legally not down).

Probably put the address down for his new job recently.

What surprises me is that the building is down for so many reasons in my own name - NPPR, PRTB, utilities -and has been owned by me for 20+ years ,yet this newly arrived foreigner is down as the owner !

How does that help anyone. You're still liable as it's self assessment whether you receive the form or not.
