LPT redirected to payandshop.com and payment options disappeared!

I went to LPT to pay my 2014 LPT. Chose payment option of Credit Card, was filling in card details and noticed I had been redirected to a page that was badged like revenue, but the domain was payandshop.com!

Now I didn't know if this was some form of fraud attempt or what, so clicked "Back" to see at what point had I been redirected to this site. Lo and behold - payment options link gone. SO now I can't pay the LPT. Tried calling them today - "call back later" message.

All of this on top of the fact that although I paid 2013 in May this year - it has only now been reconciled to my property. I had spent a fortune on phone calls to their (un)help line.

I really cannot believe the incompetence of whoever implemented this entire infrastructure.

Has anyone else encountered this inability to choose payment options issue?

Just been on to revenue for 40 mins!
Agent told me payandshop.com is NOT an authorised pament processor for revenue - and that I had no other option but to pay over phone. I asked to speak with manager. He said payandshop.com are NOT an authorised payment processor for revenue. Promised he would mail me to that effect (still waiting..)
I reluctantly agreed to perform transaction with their internal payments team. Spoke to a nice chap. He told me payandshop.com ARE authorised payment processor for revenue!
What does that say about incompetency?

payandshop trade as realex

Revenue use realex and elavon (source half way down page at http://www.revenue.ie/en/online/ros/payment-services.html) as card verification agents. I wouldnt worry about it.

If youd asked someone in there about realex you might have got a different answer

Yeah - I'm very familiar with Realex, but didn't know the traded under payandshop. Found that out later.... Ah well - as long as they (revenue) don't make duplicate payments
