When calculating the value of your home on the Daft calculator one of the questions you are asked is how many bathrooms in the house? Is an en-suite considered a bathroom? Doing a calculation on our house the difference in having an extra bathroom means 15,000 euro.

Yes I have the same problem with the Daft Valuation site.
I suggest you look at the description of similiar houses on MyHome and Daft etc and work out how they define a "Bathroom". I have seen properties with one and a half "Bathrooms" which I assume is a proper bathroom ie a room with a proper bath in it plus an ensuite shower.

I notice on the daft valuation site that once you go beyond 3 "Bathrooms" that it doesnt effect the daft valuation much.

Hello,

I have a variation of this question - in our instance, we have our (main bathroom, to include a bath) ... coupled with an en suite (where there is a shower) and a downstairs toilet, with sink (housed under the stairs).

I seriously doubt this means I have three bathrooms and yet, acknowledge that it would add some value to our property, above those who have neither of the additions we have - nonetheless, they might have other rooms or storage space which I don't have and there's no consideration for altering value as a result of those benifits.

Nothing in this life, is easy .....

Regards

Mr. Earl.

I have an unfinished understairs toilet but no sink in it.
Is that a half, third or quarter of a bathroom?
