Do you need a special boiler for LPG gas?

Yes you do but most models come in either LPG or natural gas versions.

Thanks for that. Have been told that its the fittings thats important for LPG

Any fittings used would have to comply with the boiler standards no matter what type it is. It must also be installed by a qualified gas installer.
