Husband has great affinity with this place because of the harbour/sea walks.

BUT does anyone know is there any social life there at all? Are there any little shops - even for a pint of milk.

Would love to hear how it is to live there if anyone knows.

Tks

A friend of mine lives in Loughshinny. It has no Shop, but Skerries and Rush are quite close with plenty of shops pubs etc... The NS is one of the best in the area as is the beach.

It's a lovely area, on the 33 bus route with a small primary school. No shop or pub since the Yacht closed, but lots of rumours about new owners. Between Skerries & Rush as Minigogo said, so they would be your local shop/night out, then Balbriggan for bigger shops, such as Aldi & Lidl. I love Skerries in particular, lovely on a warm summers day...

I guess depends how close you need to civilisation ;)

Tks for you replies.
I suppose it's a question of how willing we'd be to spend lots of time in the car driving to Rush or Skerries.

Shame that there isn't even ONE pub or corner shop!
