Hi all...5 weeks ago i seen a well know music sshop advertise amps on a certain sell sight,i went into the shop on the 13th of may and bought an amp, last week iit gave me some serious trouble and just doesnt work,i emailed the shop and explaind i lost my receipt but the guy should remember me as he went through some phone calls to confirm that the amp was for sale at a knock down price, this is there reply
"Unfortunately we will need a receipt. This has nothing to do with us believing you as this is not in question. Unfortunately when an amp comes back for repair under warranty the manufacturer pays for the repairs under the terms of the warranty & therefor we need to be able to show Marshall your receipt in order for them to authorise the repair. If you can find it we can get the amp take care of extremely quickly & efficiantly
now does this mean im facing a repair bill,or is there anything i can do,i accept that i lost the receipt,so if theres nothing can be done ill take it on the chin..cheers
