Lost patio door key

Is there an easy way to get a new key for a sliding patio door or do I need someone to drillout the lock and put in a new one? Thanks
 
If you have no key to copy, you will need to get a locksmith to do the job for you. They have a special tool to remove cylinder and will fit a new one for you. If you do not not want to have to use a key from inside to open the door you could ask for a cylinder with a tumb turn to inside and key to outside.
