J Jethro Registered User Messages 111 21 Dec 2008 #3 Not sure about admin access, but you can find the file for control panel in the System32 folder within the Windows folder on your C drive. It's helpfully called "Control" and if you double click it you will launch the Control Panel. Hope this helps.

E ed2008 Registered User Messages 10 21 Dec 2008 #4 got to where i click on control symbol in folder 32 but as usual i get ;"this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. please contact your system administrator. however, i'm the only system admin.!!
