Hi everyone,

Over the last year I have made some spectacularly poor investments (Bank of Ireland, Newcourt, Waterford).

Is there any way of off setting these loses against capital gains on other investments?

I would welcome any advice.

Regards,

If you have materialised the losses, i.e. sold the shares at a loss, then you can declare these losses, along with any profits you have made, on your next tax return.
