Losing it ...

I just know I left "that thing" in "that press" and now the fairies have made off with it. Everything is turned out and upside down. But that thing is still gone walkies.

Now I'm losing my cool and reason-not too far to go on either of these. So, I've not just lost "it", I'm losing "it"... what happens to yer lost things, and to you when you lose things...what things do the fairies nick from you in the wee hours?
