Looks like I can't get JA because of spouse's income???

Can anyone clarify this for me? I'll put in more details if necessary, but from reading the info. on citizen's information.ie etc. it looks like I'm not entitled to JA??

Husband earns 60K, we have 2 toddlers, I have been working full-time since 2001 and may soon lose my job. It seems completely unfair!!

Any information would be gratefully received!

Looks like you would qualify for JB (not means tested) based on your own PRSI

Mr Ed,
If you have enough PRSI contributions - you will be entitled to Job Seekers Benefit (which is not means tested) once you are available for, and actively seeking full time work

If you were paying social insurance at Class A, you can claim JB.
