Looking to buy in Crumlin

Hi all,

I am looking at houses in the Crumlin area. Could anyone tell me if they know anything about the following roads in Crumlin.

I would be living alone so would they be safe roads to live on?

Leighlin Road
Kildare Road
Derry Road
and
Windmill Avenue

you've picked some of the rougher parts of crumlin there (leighlin, derry and windmill - kildare rd is fine as far as i know.

wouldnt be into the parts of crumlin closest to canal - aughavanagh rd, glenealy, rutland.....all the best

First off, thanks for the advise on Drimnagh BICIP. . .From a previous post.

Kildare Rd is a nice spot, no where near as rough as the other roads mentioned, i lived on Clogher Rd (was born & rared there), i never remember any trouble growing up or otherwise, the road is very mature & settled. . . .i haven't lived there in 10 yrs tho so could of changed. Kildare rd links with clogher rd & runs down past the transport club to Sallys bridge. . . . just incase you wondering where it is.

Good luck with whatever you decide. Oh & 1 more think, i see from other links & posts that ppl say ask in the local Garda station, wel, i went into my local station the other day to enquire about drimnagh & they said "they do not give out infomation like that".

Oh and thanks for directions to Kildare Road. Will be looking at some houses on Kildare Road this week.
