Looking to buy client bank (lists) from broker?

Working as a broker in life business...does anyone know how / where I can aquire client banks ( example if a broker was selling) etc.

Sorry to confuse - yes, im looking to buy client lists from Brokers that might be selling up ( ie retiring, or ill health etc)

Why not just buy the brokerage, name, good will etc?

What way do Brokers trade? Are they limited companies (I thought they were)?

Yes, that's what I'm asking; wouls buying the business not be a better option as it offers an established name as well as a client list without any data protection issues. Sorry if I was not clear.
