No not that type! You know the type that grows in municipal parks in Spain with a thicker leaf/stem. Does anyone know the name/variety and can it be purchased in Ireland?

suggest you contact dept of agriculture they are responsible for all importation of plants seeds etc.

there was a company specialising in many grasses at the ploughing championship last year. maybe look up the vendors listing and give them a call also?

They generally use a blend of grasses with thick leaves and some thin ones too. The most comun being used in parks as they are suitable for heavy traffic are called lolium perenne, poa pratense, festuca rubra and agostis tenuis. I hope that helps.
