Hi,
After viewing yestarday 3 bed apt (under AH scheme) i decided to go with it.I put down deposit yesterday and i am very happy with it.
My next step is to get solicitor and i am wondering if any of you can recomend resonable price and gud solicitor.
I will be very gratefull for your replies.

Where are you located? I used Carville and Richard & Co. In Raheny village, and i have to say, they are fantastic. Excellent value and their communication was excellent.

I'm also looking for a solicitor...

Could anybody say how much they paid?

I don't want to get ripped off!

When buying my house someone recommended John Synnott on Dame Street. We phoned and got quote for the professional fees for €1,100 - (I think it is only the professional fees that can vary?)we haggled a bit and got him down to €1k. This was 3 years ago though so maybe solicitors are cheaper now (or dearer) but I found him and his receptionist very helpful, efficient and possibly most important - almost always contactable or would return calls immediately. I have used him once again since then and recommended him to numerous people since and have never heard anything bad at all.
