Looking for mortgage comparisons.

Sorry if this is answered somewhere else. I did a search but couldn't find the answer to my query below.

Is there a list somewhere that compares the features of the different mortgages out there?

I'm looking for a mortgage that allows me to repay as much extra that I want at any time with the possibility of withdrawing those extra repayments easily.

I've found one company with a mortgage with that feature but I'm kind of getting the run around from the guy there (asking me again and again for info I've provided a couple of times) so I'd be interested in chatting with competitors to see what their services offer.
Is there any site that shows different mortgages and features. I know there are ones that show interest rates but I haven't found one with comparisons of features.

Mick, as long as it doesn't say it is fixed rate I believe you can make as many additional capital repayments as you like. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)

A lender cannot charge early redemption penalties for early partial or full capital repayments on a variable/tracker rate owner occupier mortgage. Some may charge nominal administration fees for the processing of some such capital repayments (I think?). Some may also set a lower limit on the size of the accelerated capital repayment which they are willing to accept. Fixed rate mortgages are obviously different and may involve penalties for early partial or full redemption.

Try a broker?

IIB Homeloans offer the re-draw facility you seek on variable rate mortgages. You can also get it in a more roundabout way by obtaining an Offset Mortgage.

I think maybe you are going about this the wrong way. Perhaps you should be looking for the lender offering the best tracker/variable rate for your circumstances and then see if they have the flexibility you require.
