Looking for advice on trying to buy a house on one salary.

Hi we maybe someone out there has possible solution for me. we are trying to buy a house at the moment and my wife is the only one working and based on her salary she can get a funding for the house. what is the way to go about it since i am not working and would love to get it as soon as possible.

I guess it depends on how much your wife earns, how much savings you have, how much you want to borrow, how many kids you have, etc, etc, etc.

Also, take a look at affordable housing - though I think these days AF properties are about the same price as regular ones!
