Looking for a 5 star resort in October with a 1 year old

Hi,

We're looking for some suggestions for some Winter sun with a 1 year old. I'd prefer a package but I'm happy to book separately too. We'd like something on the 5 star side of things as we'll be celebrating an anniversary.
 
Dubai's a good bet at that time of year (but might be a little far for junior).
 
The Data in Langkawi best hotel i have ever been too well worth the travel.

only problem is it is so good all your holidays after this just don't match up.
 
Thanks for all the suggestions so far. I think Malaysia and Dubai are slightly too far for a 1 year old as he's now walking. We did Florida when he was 2 months, but it'll be a different story now on a plane.
 
What about somewhere like Reids Palace in Madeira? 3.5 hour flight, good weather all year round and there are plenty of good 5 star hotels in Madeira.
