Heading to Boston for a long weekend at the end of Nov.

can anyone recommend any great sights to see...also have any of you visited the discounted retail outlets.
Are there any there that are like "woodbury common" in New york??

thanks,

Wrentham Village is the Boston equivalent of Woodbury Common

The Prudential Skywalk is definitely worth a visit - it's in the Prudential Centre and you can have a 360 degree view of the city. It's very impressive.

Quincy Market and Fanueil Hall are also worth visiting.

Stroll through Beacon Hill and enjoy the Christmas decorations. Have a look at the U.S. Constitution. [broken link removed]
Walk the Freedom trail. Just follow the red lines on the footpath.
Spent 10 days there a few years back and really enjoyed the city.

I found the JFK museum and library very interesting, especially the section on his Iriah visit, well worth the short taxi ride, especially on a cold day

Also you should try and go and see a basketball or ice hockey game(Celtics and Bruins), you don't have to be into the sport or any sport, it is interesting to watch how different it is over there and watch yanks at play
