Lone parent

Hi, my full time hours were reduced to 3 days per week last May and so I applied for jobseekers benefit which I have been getting ever since (E87.10). I am a single parent also. At the time of the application, I was unsure of what my wages would be and my boss told me to put down circa E380 which I did. It transpired that my wages came out at around E410 weekly. I have only realised recently, that I can claim Lone Parents as my wages are below E425 which I did yesterday. I obviously filled out what my pay has been since I started on the 3 days, and I explained my reason for the delay in applying which is that I was uninformed and the matter only fully came to my attention with the budget cuts which has changed my wages to E400 pw. I am worried that the SW will question the difference in pay with regard to the Jobseekers application last May and that of the Lone Parents application made yesterday. Will I be in trouble over that?

No, there should be no problems with the difference in figures supplied - after all, they're 6 months apart, and lots can change in that time.
