London visit & Shows

Have great time in London. Wonderful location Premier Inn, County Hall. 5 mins from Westminster House of Parliament, 10 mins 10 Downing street, 2 tube stops within 5 mins walk. Beside London Eye. 15 mins to Picadilly circus. Great value also. Several well priced eateries beside also the hotel itself.
Visit The House of Parliament and The House of Lords. Bring your passport and the queue is not too long, great experience, you will be in and out in about 1 hour unless you want to spend longer there. London is magical.
Tickets for shows can be got at box offices around Piccadilly Circus or end of Regent Street. After lunch the tickets are usually cheaper. There are lots of Kiosks around there, you will be spoiled for choice of shows no need to book unless it is a very new show. The prices vary but always good value I think. Browtal

You'd probably be cheaper booking the tickets yourself via the box office, especially for the longer running shows which often are not sold out. Try the Half Price ticket bureau in Leicester Square as well, surprising sometimes what they can have.

If you are staying over a weekend, try and get a hotel in The City, great value to be had because they are geared for business travellers during the week so are glad to get any business at the weekend. Only 3/4 stops from the West End on the Central line

If you are based in Dublin, Easons carry "Time Out" magazine which is the best listing magazine for London and includes all the theatres, reviews and contact details.
