London: private room in hostel

I am looking for accomm in London for a w/e in Feb.

Price sensitive, trying to pay 40 stg pn.

Hotels like Ibis / Travelodge / Premier Inn are 70-80 stg, or else the cheaper ones are 20km out.

So I'm looking at private rooms in hostels, preferably en-suite.

I have found some, e.g. St. Christopher inns, but a lot of them mention late bars, parties, etc.

Can anybody suggest any (quiet) hostels with private rooms?

£46/night [broken link removed], and it's right on the Docklands Light Rail line, so easily reached. Not the most charming of neighbourhoods, but certainly quiet at night (bar the noise of planes!)

City closes at 10 - no planes allowed in or out after ten!

`Only used the one in Dublin, but it was very nice and was reasonable`

Ye stayed in the one in Dublin also. Not to bad at all. Ya get what you pay for.

I stayed in the Generator London in October, it's fine. Shared facilities.
Very good location close to Russell Square tube station on the Piccadilly Line. £36.75 pppn for a twin room.

Thanks for the replies.

The Generator hostel is 72.50 pn for a single room.

London is pricey.
