I'm restoring a 1907 house in Bray Co. Wicklow and many of the internal door handles and locks are in pretty bad shape. Does anyone know of a good craftsman/restorer who specialises in bringing nice old handles and closing mechanisms back to life?
Can't recall seeing any recommendation for lock restorers on AAM so just wondering if a call to either of the two guys mentioned in this post would give any advice.
Just chancing my arm here also in wondering if the company mentioned in this post could give a recommendation also. They sell modern locks etc. but have been around for a long time and therefore might be able to help.
