Local Soccer Club: Excel sheet to record teams, results and scorers.

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to look at my query.

I am secretary of a local soccer team and recently I have been given teams, results and scorers all carefully written down since 1972 from the previous secretary.

I would like to record all the data in such a way that it would tally up appearances,goals scored etc for a particular players etc. I am not good with excel and I beleive it could be possible for me to type in names 1-11 and subs and if the players scored and it would all tally up at the end of each season.
