Local Authority Rental Query

Hi All,

I'm posting this on behalf of my brother. He bought a house 4 years ago and he would like to move home to save more money to buy a site.

He would prefer to rent his house to our local authority on a long term basis. How do you start this process with the council ?

What are the pro's and cons of this ?

What he's looking for is the Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS). Have a search on the forum for threads with lots of information (and pros/cons) on same.
