Loan/credit card when I have bad credit rating

I am off work sick at the moment and, from this week will not be paid at all.
I am single & live alone (so the bills are all on me). My mortgage is due to be paid next week, my pre-paid electricity needs to be topped up in the next few days, monthly bills are due etc. I have €7 in the bank. My credit rating is bad (which I have been trying hard in recent months to work on, making sure not to miss any payments etc) But in the last couple of days I have been turned down for a loan or credit card from my bank, credit union, chillmoney.ie & avant.
I usually work one main job three days a week and then another job on a self-employed basis 1 day. I have had nothing for the last three weeks from the second place as I only get paid for the hours I am there. My "main" job had been paying me until now so my illness benefit was being paid to them which I have now asked to be changed but it may take a week or two.
I desperately need money somehow but am scared of applying to a dodgy money lender. Can anyone advise please? Being sick I am not thinking too clearly and any help would be most appreciated.

It is probably not an issue to miss a mortgage payment. We would need more info to see if there is any potential issue.

I think you should contact your mortgage provider by letter and inform them of your circumstances . If possible give them some idea of when you hope to be able to return to work and get back to normal payments. Perhaps MAB,s May be able to assist you.

Its probably a good time to make an appointment with your local welfare officer. They may at least help you with your electricity
