I live in the US; I am an Irish citizen.

I have a small pension from my Irish working days.
I am taxed PAYE

Now I have a small salary from my job here.
I pay taxes on that salary here in US.

I presume I don't need to declare the US salary to Irish authorities?

Re: Q from US

I wonder if it makes sense that you are paying PAYE on your Irish income. I'm not an expert, but I'd have thought that you should pay tax on one or other side of the Atlantic, but not both. So if you are tax-resident in the US, I think you should be paying all your tax in the US, and no tax in Ireland.

Do you get credit in the US for the tax you've already paid in Ireland.
