Living in NI, working for HSE. Pension issue.

Hi all, does the title of this thread resonate with anyone on here.

I currently live in Northern Ireland where I worked in the Private sector for over 20 years, and now work for the HSE.

I want to maximise my retirement income from a variety of sources (including UK State pension which I have 25 years full contribs; a UK personal pension pot, the HSE Single Pension scheme contributions and last but not least the Irish State pension which I will have contributed 10 years too in a few years time) and I suppose I have two questions.

1. Can anyone recommend a reputable advisor who could direct me on the best path to take with future investment decisions?
2. Is there anyone out there that like me, lived in NI and worked in ROI and have their finances and retirement plans optimised?

Its a minefield. UK Class 2 or 3 NIC's, AVC's, SIPPS etc etc

Just looking for some help, and thanks in advance for any provided.

You may be able to buy notional service at the HSE. If you email your Personnel Dept they will advise of terms. It's expensive but tax efficient which is not to be underestimated.
