living in Ireland with UK deposit account

I have an on line deposit account in the UK but live in Ireland. My question is under the European Deposit Tax Directive will I pay tax based on current UK rates (currently 20%) or will it it be paid less DIRT(currently 30%). In either case will the bank inform the Irish Revenue.

Have you told the UK bank that you are non resident?

As you are a resident of Ireland, you are normally subject to the 30% Irish deposit interest tax rates.
