Concert Square has some cool bars and also down Mathew St
The Vodka Revolution bar is a good spot also and of course the Cavern club

After hours spend an hour or 2 in Angels if that ain't hot enough for ya
 
Alma de Cuba, Seel St. Converted Church and seriously cool. Be there at midnight when they shower rose petals down from the balconies. Enjoy!
 
..and if you are taking in a game then Rileys or The Beehive (next door to each other, opposite The Adelphi Hotel) is a great spot to start things off with a very friendly welcome from Billy Riley, the owner.

Matthew St is where the trendy bars are, a good sports bar with a jukebox, pool tables big screens etc is The Hanover.
