List of Companies who "Opt Out" of Mail Shots

Hi There,

A friend recently opened a new coffee shop and is interested in doing a mail shot to all offices / workplaces in the area to let them know where they are, give discount vouchers etc.

I know there is a list of companies who have requested no cold calling. Does anyone know where we can find a list of companies who may have selected to Opt Out of unsolicited mail? Or is there such a thing?

There is a no cold calling list but I never heard of a no unsolicitated mail list. If a company / person don't want unsolicitated mail they usually have a little sign at or on the letter box saying no junk mail.

I don't think there is an opt-out list for companies. There is an opt-out for individuals run by the IDMA.
