Limestone flooring

I am thinking of laying limestone slabs on the kitchen floor but am wondering if they may be too porous for this kind of area. I know marble is very porous, needs sealing regularly and can stain, so I don't want to go down that route. I haven't seen any other flooring material that comes close, so does anyone have any experience of these?

I've used limestone in the kitchen and it's working out fine but the floor needs to be sealed and resealed periodically whether in the kitchen or any area.
