Lights in the sky, similar to northern lights.

Is anyone else noticing lights in the night sky at the moment, something like the Northern lights but maybe not as colourful?
For example white light on some of the night horizon in the countryside away from towns and cities.
And also light in the clouds everywhere.
I have seen it on a few nights now.

It could be light from the ground reflecting off the clouds, perhaps stadium and pitch floodlights as teams get back into training post Christmas?

I was driving not too long ago and I saw the light again on the horizon.
Perhaps it is light from GAA or rugby pitches but it is coming from miles away if it is.
It could be the type of cloud formations at the moment too, reflecting light from a distance.

Or construction work maybe? But you'd think that'd stop at night.

A road with the new type of white streetlights?

I think it's LED floodlights. And maybe the cloud formations.
Seeing these light again at the moment.

Seemingly the deep red colour in the skies around the airport area is due to pink lighting being used in the greenhouses at Keelings to illuminate winter strawberries!
