we moved into our new house last november and we have been having problems with our downstairs light fitting, the bulbs are blowing (on 3 occasions the buld exploded) on a regular basis; candle bulbs 40/60W, i even put in the philips ones gaurenteed for 2 years, blown in 2 weeks. I was wondering if there could be something wrong with the wiring? the electrician who wired the house also put up the fittings, we also has a halogen light fitting (G4 bulbs) and have replace all 5 bulbs since christmas, it seems a bit of a coincidence as in our old house we very rarely had to replace the bulds.
