I have inherited some land for my lifetime and then it falls to my son on my death,i am just wondering could it be possible to give my daughter a site out of the land to build on while its in my hands

Agree to discuss it with your solicitor. But it sounds like you don’t own the land and thus it is not your to give. You probably can permit her to build a house on the land but the land belongs to your son ultimately. She may have trouble drawing down a mortgage on that basis.
