From memory all I can remember
Flat panels will last longer than evacuated tubes but they are not as efficient. Seems to be mixed feeling for them.
Evacuated tubes might only last 10 years. and one factor is the design of the system. thermal shocking of the vacuum tubes dramatically shorten the lifespan
