life insurance, refused mortgage

Hi all

Went into the bank last Monday and filled out all the relevant forms. Just wondered if the bank can refusue to give you a mortgage based on the feedback the Life insurance company give?

This question has been asked and answered on the Mortgage and House Buying section. It is possible to get a waiver from the lending institution in certain circumstances.
