Hi there,

A friend of mine is going for life insurance and is worried that she will be refused on the grounds that she has Polycystic ovaries.

Has anybody got any experience relating to this?

Anybody been refused for any other medical conditions?

PCOS can lead to, among other things, obesity, high blood pressure or other cardiovascular disorders. But not in all women. How a life assurance company will deal with her application will depend on her particular medical details. She might be accepted with a loaded premium, for example.

She should apply, making sure that she provides full details.
 
Just tell her not to hide anything and then hope for the best.
 
Does anybody know if any insurance companies will give serious illness protection to somebody being treated for Ankylosing Spondilitis on Enbrel?
