Their tv's could be fine but I don't trust them since I discovered my fabulous LG washer dryer, that cost 700 euro plus, had a built in fault. The place that collects the fluff is deep in the machine, I only found out what was wrong with it by searching on google. So it stopped drying after just one year. Pretty cynical and pretty stupid considering I won't buy an LG anything ever again.
Bought an LG 28" HD ready tv in January, a red line has started appearing on left hand side of screen, from top to bottom, its intermittant. Phoned the place I bought it, they want me to phone LG engineer, but because its intermittant Im sort of hesitant, no doubt if an engineer came along it wouldnt be there you know?
Not impressed though, TV is only 4 months old - shouldnt be any problems already.

If its only 4 mths old, it should still be in warranty. Your contract was with the shop where you bought the TV, so its up to them to get it fixed. You shouldn't have to be chasing LG engineers.
