I would write an honest account of the person, their attributes etc, perhaps if they are from a non english speaking country and they have learned English - note the efforts they have made to learn the language. Also how have they integrated and learned about our culture - if they have. How they contribute to society - if they do. Put in how you know the person and the type of relationship you have.
