Letter just arrived to Oz with due date tomorrow.

Just received my letter to say I am eligible to receive the UK Pension, it also says 'We cannot accept your payment if we receive it after the final time limit' which is tomorrow! Unsure is this correct info?

It also has me down for Class 3 on the letter, I should be Class 2 as I went straight back to work in Ireland and then came to Oz. I have requested a call back from the 'future pensions' squad. Is there any way to contest the class2/class 3 scenario online, I have seen it mentioned lots on the forum but going to and fro from Australia via mail isn't very efficient! Thanks for any info in advance!

Why do they think you are in Australia?

Deadline to apply is 5th April.

Deadline for payment depends on what year you are buying back.

If you think it should be class 2, appeal and attach supporting documentation; printed letter is your only option. You could use a commercial service if you wish.

Perhaps because the poster is in Australia (Oz).

Doh… dunno why I assumed they were in Ireland. My bad.

Puts an extra pressure on the process. Isn’t there an option to get emails?

Might be worth getting one of the companies advertising right enough
