i have a friend who has lost his company due to the downturn. he has put the company into liquidation and any available assets have been distributed. he owes one of the main banks over €100,000 after this and he has a personal letter of gaurantee with the bank for €50,000. My question is, how much will he have to pay teh bank and to what extent will the bank go to to get the balance of their money back?
