leixlip to Craughwell, Galway - how long

Have to be in Craughwell, galway for 2pm this coming saturday. I was planning on leaving Leixlip at 10:30 this giving me 3.5 hours. Is this enough time?
 
50 mins from athlone to craughwell, nothing on road really, may get caught in ballinasloe for 10 mins, check if horse fair is on.
 
That's plenty of time. Motorway to near Athlone and Loughrea is bypassed. Moate only potential delay. 2.5 hours would be enough.
 
just checked and horse fair starts the following weekend - very luck !!
 
It's 1 hour 20 mins from Lucan to Athlone (I've done that trip more times than I care to think of!), if that helps. Someone said 50 mins then to Craughwell. 2.5 hours seems plenty. Moate is unreal, though, and quite unpredictable. The traffic gets very backed up but it does move. Eventually.

I think there are currently roadworks in Ballinasloe with diversions in place. Might be worth checking out the AA's website.
