Was heading to Lucan from Tallaght a while ago, and came across a GoSafe speedvan in an area i've never seen one before. After checking the GoSafe camera map on Garda.ie, its very clear that the van is parked in an area not designated for GoSafe camera vans. There is an area about 1km before the Luas line which is for the vans, but the van was parked about 1km past the Luas line.
According to the map, this is clearly not where the van should be parked.
Before anyone asks, i wasn't speeding, but i'm interested in what the legality of this GoSafe van would be if you decided to appeal a speeding ticket received by the van?
