I'm looking to find out the lagal requirement from the begining of the interview process i.e. advertisment through to appointment of succesful candidate.

I know the grounds on which an organisation cannot discriminate on but was wondering what other legal requirements there may be?

Thanks

If required under the freedom of information (depends if you are public sector or not) you must give over copies of all documents pertaining to the interview.

Other than the Employment Equality and FOI, there is no legislation (as such) governing the recruitment and selection process; however most reputable companies are aware that in the event of an employment tribunal/discrimination claim they will be obliged to disclose so are careful to follow a transparent process.
