This is possibly a consumer complaint as well as a car problem.
My son has recently purchase a van from a small trader. After 2 months he is having trouble getting him to do the necessary documents for change of ownership and will have to do it himself. As a result he cannot tax it. Is there a legal requirement to force the seller/trader to do this?
The trader also said it had a DOE, which it has not, we cannot complete this with out the documentation, and he does not seem to be covering the guarantee with a small mechanical problem, I would think that this point is a consumer legal issue. We would welcome your comments on this, what action can we take?
