Has anyone used the LD Lines ferry from Rosslare to Le Havre and if so would you recommend it?
We are planning a trip to France in August and the price (return trip including cabin) is very competitive compared to Irish Ferries and Brittany Ferries.
LD Lines £540

My main concern is the length of the crossing (20 hours) and the fact that it arrives in Le Havre at 10 pm which would necessitate a hotel stopover. I can't find any hotel in Le Havre with a family room that sleeps five.
