LCD v Plasma

Good evening

I want to buy a 37 or 40 inch LCD or Plasma?
Anybody got any views on which one?
Also anybody got any recommendations - was in DID, Power City and Currys earlier. Each one pushing something different?

Want to spend between €1,200 and €1,500.

Also any recommendations for a DVD cinema kit?

difficult to answer, but depends on what you like to watch, If you are sports mad, then plasmas would give a better picture whareas for movies lcd would be better. For what you are willing to spend, stick with the brands
