Hi there, our dinky CRT TV is on the blink so we've started investigating a LCD/LED option. Samsung 32inch is prob what we're going for, and have to decide between LCD/LED. Whilst in one of the TV shops, the sales guy told us we'd need Digital Cable or similar ie FTA in order to get a decent pic, analogue cable (which is going to be phased out anyway) is not going to give us a quality pic. So the question is...if we go FTA, what about Irish channels which we'll need bunny ears for, will the pic be awful? Would LED be better than LCD? I'd prefer not to have to go down the digital cable (UPC) route as that's quite expensive and we're not subscribers at the moment.

As an aside, I've found very good prices for Samsung at www.microaid.ie - no affiliation, only I've bought a web cam and wireless broadband router from them before...just thought I'd pass it on...

rabbits ears are only designed for small screens (14" portables) and you won't get a sufficiently strong signal on a 32"
